Dairy-Free Seafood Chowder
Who doesn’t love a good seafood chowder? I’ve always loved chowder but being dairy intolerant, I couldn't handle the amount of cream they would give you in a restaurant.
My mum makes this for my dad and me and it is a crowd-pleaser!

This is incredibly easy to make, a great source of protein and fiber!

- 1 onion diced
- 2 red-skinned potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 carrot optional, sliced
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 pack seafood mix OR fresh fish of choice cubed
Heat oil in a saucepan medium-high heat.
Saute onion, and potato until browned.
Add vegetable stock and carrot.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Blend until no longer lumpy.
Add seafood mix and simmer for a further 10-15 minutes.
Serve and season with salt and pepper.
