The Best Double Chocolate Banana Bread
Who didn't get onto the banana bread baking movement during covid? This is a tasty chocolate twist on your regular banana bread. This chocolate banana bread is made with oats and dairy-free. It is absolutely delicious served warm with vanilla non-dairy ice cream.

- 2 cups oats
- 1 large apple
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 4-6 ripe bananas mashed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1/2 cup agave syrup
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- Chocolate chips optional
- 2 tbsp dessicated coconut optional
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Blend Oats to Oat Flour
Peel apple, cut into cubes, and place in a bowl with a cup of water in the microwave until it is soft. When soft, mash apple into applesauce.
Whisk the eggs, applesauce, bananas, vanilla, and agave syrup together.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Grease a 10-inch bread pan and pour the mix in.
Bake for 30 - 45 minutes.
When the knife will come out clean banana bread is fully cooked.
Put on a drying rack and wait till it cools
Sprinkle coconut over cake and enjoy!
